ABHINAV ARORA, a 10-year-old preacher and spiritual content creator from Delhi, has been making waves on the social media with his devotional videos and teachings.
Fondly known as ‘bal sant'(child saint), he now has over 950,000 followers on Instagram and is known for his devotion to Lord Krishna and Radha.
He also runs a YouTube channel and a Facebook page.
Abhinav is fluent in Hindi, Sanskrit, and English, and regularly posts videos about Hindu festivals, scriptures, and his interactions with religious leaders.
In December 2023, the young orator was also honoured as India’s Youngest Spiritual Orator by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
Recently a video has surfaced of Abhinav talking to BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj about his spiritual journey.
His father, Tarun Raj Arora, an entrepreneur and TEDx speaker, claims that Abhinav got interested in spirituality when he was just three years old.
The young preacher is often invited to prominent spiritual and cultural events, and appeared on various TV channels, radio shows, and online platforms.
Abhinav believes he embodies Balram and worships Shree Krishna as his younger brother.
In several interviews, he said that his daily routine starts at 3:30 am and after performing various religious rituals, he attends school.
Abhinav claims most of his classmates keep a distance from him.
Controversies
However, his life has not been free from controversies.
His mother Jyoti Arora on Monday claimed that they received a death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which is said to be involved in the recent killing of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique in Mumbai.
She told ANI that they have received a text message that Abhinav would be killed. She claimed they had on the previous day got a call from the same number which they did not attend.
Abhinav also recently faced backlash for dancing alongside spiritual leader Swami Rambhadracharya at a religious event.
The video footage showed Swami Rambhadracharya asking Arora to leave the stage.
Abhinav downplayed the incident, claiming that his guru’s words were a corrective gesture.
His family has also filed a complaint before a Mathura court against seven YouTubers for allegedly trolling Ahinav.
Tarun Arora has accused them of being “anti-Hindu” and peddling religious hatred.
