Four persons were killed in Sultanpur in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh on Friday (14) when the BMW they were riding on rammed into a giant container.
What has made the tragedy even more discussed is that a video of the passengers, all men, speeding the vehicle went viral on social media. They were chasing 300 kilometres per hour (kmph) on a Facebook Live when the crash happened. In the video, one of the victims was even heard saying, “charo marenge” (all four of us will die). He was even pressuring the driver to raise the speed even more by saying “aur pel!” (accelerate more).
The speedometer of the car was more than 200 kmph when the video stopped.
A few minutes before the accident, Victims were live-streaming the video of their BMW car touching a speed of 230 km/h.
