Novak Djokovic’s fans might still rue the fact that he missed two major tournaments this year and is still in the hunt for the 22nd Grand Slam title, but the Serb doesn’t seem to be as dejected. Recently, the 35-year-old was joined by his seven-year-old son Stefan and wife Jelena on the dance floor at the wedding ceremony of his youngest brother Djordje.
Djordje Djokovic got married to his fiancee Saska Veselinov at St. Mark’s Church in Belgrade on Monday (12).

Novak, who missed the recently held US Open because of his no-vaccination status, was found unwinding at the family event. He even lit up the dance floor and was seen encouraging his kid who seemed shy in the beginning. His wife also joined him.
The next day, the family got busy with the post-wedding celebrations in Montenegro, where Novak sang and danced alongside his brother.

Novak is set to return to Australia for next year’s first Grand Slam after he was deported from the country earlier this year over a legal tussle after the authorities Down Under refused to accommodate the ace tennis player who hasn’t taken the Covid-19 vaccine.

Novak has also extended his break from the game by withdrawing from Serbia’s Davis Cup team for the group stages matches this month. Viktor Troicki, the captain of Serbia’s Davis Cup squad, said Novak was absent due to personal reasons.
Recently, Novak’s businessman uncle Goran said in an interview to a US website that the fiasco at the Australian Open earlier this year had actually done his nephew good as he would be able to extend his career by five to six years after that episode as he got some rest.
