AFTER 15 years since their first collaboration, director Vishal Bhardwaj and actor Shahid Kapoor are set to work together again.
The new untitled project, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, will also feature Triptii Dimri as the female lead.
The movie is described as a “big action commercial entertainer.” Bhardwaj and Kapoor previously worked together on films like “Kaminey” (2009), “Haider” (2014), and “Rangoon” (2017).
“I’m thrilled to collaborate once again with the incredible Sajid Nadiadwala, one of the finest producers and a dear friend, and the gifted Shahid Kapoor, my trusted talisman. What a delight to have Tripti Dimri, India’s National Crush, add her magic to this dream team,” Bhardwaj said.
Nadiadwala praised Bhardwaj’s talent, calling him a “genius director”, and hailed Kapoor as a “phenomenal powerhouse” performer.
He welcomed Dimri into the production family, adding, “It’s an honour to welcome the incredibly gifted Tripti Dimri to the #NGEFamily.”
The film will begin shooting soon, according to the production team. Bhardwaj’s last film was Khufiya, which was released on Netflix in 2023.
Meanwhile, Kapoor’s most recent project was “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya”, which came out earlier this year.
Dimri will next appear in “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video”, set for release in October.
