In a shocking incident, a 34-year-old man allegedly murdered his 30-year-old wife for refusing to have sex with him twice in one night, The Times of India reported.
According to the daily, the incident has happened in Amroha district of northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
The man allegedly strangled his wife with a rope in a fit of rage after she declined his demand to get physically intimate twice in the same night.
The accused, identified as Mohammad Anwar, reportedly confessed to the crime in a video statement. He allegedly dumped the body around 50 kilometres from his home and filed a missing report.
The body was recovered by the police after a few days on Tuesday (6) and Anwar was called for identification. The man, who owns a bakery in the locality, broke down and confessed to the murder when he was interrogated by the law-keepers.
He was married to his wife for nine years and they have three children.
