TV ACTOR Aman Jaiswal (23) died after a truck rammed into his motorbike on Jogeshwari road in Mumbai on Friday (17) afternoon, police said.
He was known for a lead role in TV serial “Dhartiputra Nandini”.
Jaiswal was rushed to Cama Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, said an official of Amboli police station.
A case for rash and negligent driving was registered against the truck driver and investigation was on, he added.
Actor Hritik Yadav, who co-starred with Jaiswal in “Dhartiputra Nandini”, said the accident happened when he was on his way to an audition, Hindustan Times reports.
When he didn’t turn up, the casting team called Jaiswal on his phone. A stranger picked up and informed them that the actor has met with an accident.
The casting director called Hritik to cross-check if it was true. “When I called Aman, I got the same information and I rushed to the hospital,” he said.
