Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma, who have been in the spotlight for their relationship since last year, have reportedly ended their romantic journey. According to a Pinkvilla report, the couple parted ways a few weeks ago, although they continue to maintain mutual respect and friendship. While an official confirmation is awaited, sources close to them claim that both are prioritizing their professional commitments while choosing to remain good friends.
Speculation about their relationship began when Tamannaah and Vijay were seen together at a New Year’s Eve party in 2023. The two eventually confirmed their relationship during the promotions of Lust Stories 2, where they shared screen space. Recently, Tamannaah addressed rumors regarding her wedding with Vijay Varma in an interview with Hindustan Times. She expressed happiness about her current phase of life and stated, “Shaadi bhi ho sakti hai, kyun nahin?” (Marriage is also a possibility. Why not?). She further emphasized that marriage would not interfere with her career aspirations, adding, “For me, shaadi aur career ka koi connection nahin hai (there is no connection between marriage and career). I’m very ambitious. I will continue to act even after marriage.”
Their relationship became official when Tamannaah openly called Vijay Varma her “happy place” in an interview with Film Companion in 2024. Vijay, too, reciprocated these feelings in multiple interviews, expressing admiration and affection for the actress.
The duo reportedly grew close while working together on Lust Stories 2, a Netflix anthology where they featured in the same segment.
