At the much-awaited trailer launch of Odela 2, actress Tamannaah Bhatia showcased not just her on-screen charisma but also her off-screen wit when confronted with a cheeky question about her personal life. In the middle of the media interaction, a reporter tossed a question that was clearly a play on her past relationship with actor Vijay Varma, asking if she’d use any mystical powers to “achieve Vijay” — a pun laced with her ex’s name.
The reporter asked in Hindi, “Aisi koi personality hai jiske upar aap tantra mantra ki vidya se Vijay haasil karna chahti hai?” (Is there any personality you’d use occult knowledge on to win over Vijay?). Tamannaah, known for her quick comebacks, didn’t miss a beat. With a grin, she replied, “Yeh to aap pe hi karna padega. Phir saare paparazzi mere mutthi mein honge. What do you say? Karle? Sir pe hi karle?” (Then I’ll have to do it on you. All the paparazzi would be under my control. Shall I? Right on your head?).
The response sparked laughter across the room, breaking the tension and gently deflecting from the personal nature of the question. It also underscored how Tamannaah handles media curiosity with humour and grace.
The moment arrives shortly after her amicable breakup with Vijay Varma, with whom she had been in a relationship for over two years. The duo was frequently spotted together at events and vacations, and their chemistry had become a talking point on social media.
