TAMIL actor Suriya’s latest movie Kanguva collected ₹586.2 million (£5.48 m) gross worldwide on its opening day, the makers announced on Friday.
The film, which premiered on Thursday, has been described by the production team as a “mighty valiant saga” spanning generations.
Studio Green, one of the film’s producers, shared the milestone on Instagram: “Like a wild storm in the box offices worldwide, lauded by all, our #Kanguva collects over ₹586.2 million. Thank you to all the Anbaana Fans, Cinema Lovers and Audiences who made this happen.”
