Solar eclipse not the only celestial event happening on April 8, there are more…

While seven planets of the solar system could be seen positioning themselves perfectly alongside the eclipsed sun the same day, there is also the possibility of spotting comet 12P/Pons-Brooks flying nearby with naked eyes.

IF you are in the US, Canada or Mexico, it is not just the total solar eclipse which will unfold in the sky on Monday (8). Yes, you read it right!

As the eclipse graces the skies and the daylight fades, you will also be able to witness more celestial phenomena. Seven planets of the solar system could be seen positioning themselves perfectly alongside the eclipsed sun in what is called the planetary alignment. Besides, there is also the possibility of spotting comet 12P/Pons-Brooks flying nearby with naked eyes.

The convergence of all the phenomena makes the April 8 celestial event one of the most magnificent ones and you can’t afford to miss them.

If you’re not in the path of totality, you still need not worry! You will still be able to see the planetary alignments on April 20.

However, while you feel excited by the series of events, do not forget to give your eyes enough protection. Do not look at the sun or you will risk your vision.
