Tamil superstar Sivakarthikeyan popularly known for his role in recent release Amaran has officially revealed the title and first glimpse of his highly anticipated action film Madharasi on his 40th birthday. Directed by A R Murugadoss, the film was initially referred to as SK 23 and is set to be a mass action entertainer.
The announcement came with a gripping teaser, showcasing Sivakarthikeyan in a rugged, high-energy avatar, hinting at an intense and action-packed narrative. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, while its Hindi version has been titled Dil Madharasi.
The first-look poster further amplifies excitement, featuring Sivakarthikeyan standing with his back to the camera, surrounded by iron chains, suggesting a gritty and intense storyline. Reports suggest that Madharasi will be a spy thriller, marking a bold new direction in the actor’s career.
Rukmini Vasanth, known for her performance in Sapta Sagaradaache Ello, plays the female lead, while action star Vidyut Jammwal has been cast as the antagonist. Produced on a grand scale by N. V. Prasad under Sri Lakshmi Movies, the film boasts a powerful musical score by Anirudh Ravichander, further adding to the buzz.
With production still underway, more updates are expected in the coming months. The collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and A R Murugadoss has already created waves on social media, making Madharasi one of the most anticipated Tamil films of the year.
