ACTOR Shraddha Kapoor has confirmed that she is in a relationship but chose not to disclose the identity of her partner.

“I really love spending time with my partner and doing things with him like watching a movie, going for dinner, or travelling. I am generally someone who likes to spend time doing things together or even not doing things together,” she shared in an interview with Cosmopolitan.

She further reflected on her personal relationships, stating, “For instance, even with my school friends, if we don’t meet, it affects my mood. Yesterday, we had a family lunch, which was so uplifting and invigorating, and the same goes for my relationship.”

While the actor has not confirmed the name of her partner, there are rumours suggesting she is dating screenwriter Rahul Mody.

The speculation intensified after the two were seen together multiple times last year, including attending a friend’s wedding in March.

At a recent event, where Kapoor launched the trailer for “Stree 2”, she was asked about her wedding plans.

The actor, dressed in a red saree with a long braid referencing her character in the film, replied, “Woh Stree hai, usse jab dulhan banna hai woh banegi” (She is Stree; she will become a bride whenever she feels like). Her witty response amused the audience.

Shraddha’s film “Stree 2” became the biggest hit of the year, surpassing the lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan”.

When questioned about marriage, Kapoor expressed an open-minded approach, stating, “It is not a question of believing in marriage or not, but more a question about being the right person, and therefore being with the right person. And in case one feels they want to get married, then that’s great. But if they feel like they don’t want to get married, that’s great too.”

Sources close to Kapoor and Mody suggest that while they are comfortable being seen together, they prefer to keep their relationship private.

“They are not afraid to be photographed with each other, but that doesn’t mean they will make their relationship official anytime soon,” a source told Hindustan Times.
