SHARON STONE is reportedly in talks to join the cast of the popular HBO drama series “Euphoria” for its third season.
The show, which follows the lives of high schoolers in East Highland dealing with issues such as love, addiction, and loss, stars Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney.
“Euphoria” is loosely based on creator Sam Levinson’s personal experiences with drug addiction during his youth.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stone is in negotiations to appear in the hit series. The third season will also see the return of the main cast.
The first season of “Euphoria” premiered in 2019, with the second season following in 2022.
The delay in the third season’s production is attributed to several factors, including the writers’ strikes in 2023 and the deaths of actor Angus Cloud and executive producer Kevin Turen.
Stone, 66, is also known for her roles in “Basic Instinct,” “Casino,” and “The Quick and the Dead,” among others. She will next appear in the action thriller “Nobody 2”.
