After being discontinued in October last year, the Chandigarh-Sharjah flight was supposed to fly again from April 2.

THE flight connecting the northern Indian city of Chandigarh and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, which was supposed to be resumed on Tuesday (2), has been postponed and according to officials, efforts would be made to ensure that the twice-a-week flight becomes operational from May, The Tribune reported.
Air India Express was scheduled to recommence flight operations from the Indian city, following its discontinuation of service last October.
However, three new flights to the northern Indian cities of Dharamsala, Jammu and Delhi from Chandigarh became operational on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Vistara Mumbai-Chandigarh flight scheduled to arrive in Chandigarh at 8:15 am local time on Tuesday was cancelled. Another Delhi-Chandigarh flight, operated by the same airlines, was also cancelled on March 31.
