Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor recently shared a heartwarming moment with his son Zain Kapoor, showcasing his unique approach to teaching him how to cycle. In a video posted on Instagram, the actor used a towel to help Zain maintain balance while riding a bicycle. The clip, which quickly caught the attention of fans, also featured a playful exchange between Shahid and his younger brother, actor Ishaan Khatter.
In the video, Shahid Kapoor can be seen supporting Zain by wrapping a towel around his torso, ensuring he remains steady while pedaling. Dressed in a casual pink T-shirt and shorts, Shahid appeared fully engaged in the moment, while Zain, wearing a black T-shirt and pants, looked determined to master the skill. Sharing the clip, Shahid humorously captioned it:
“Teaching your son how to cycle with a towel.”
He further asked his followers for suggestions on easier methods, adding:
“(Exploding head emoji) Any better suggestions on how this can be easier.”
Not one to miss a fun opportunity, Shahid’s brother, Ishaan Khatter, jumped in with a lighthearted response. The Phone Bhoot actor suggested that Shahid should have just reached out to him for advice, writing:
“(Facepalm emoji) Dial the chachu helpline.”

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput tied the knot in 2015 in an arranged marriage. The couple is known for their strong social media presence, often sharing glimpses of their family life. Mira Rajput, now a social media influencer, regularly posts about parenting, fashion, and lifestyle.
Announcing Zain’s birth on X (formerly Twitter), Shahid had shared an emotional post, writing:
“Zain Kapoor is here, and we feel complete. Thank you for all the wishes and blessings. We are overjoyed and so grateful. Love to all (heart and folded hands emojis).”
On the professional front, Shahid was last seen in the action thriller Deva, which hit theatres on January 31, 2025. Produced by Roy Kapur Films in collaboration with Zee Studio, the film was directed by Rosshan Andrrews, known for Malayalam blockbusters such as Salute and Kayamkulam Kochunni.
Described as an “action-packed roller-coaster ride full of thrill and drama,” Deva featured Shahid in the role of a brilliant but rebellious police officer. The film also starred Pooja Hegde, Pavail Gulati, and Kubbra Sait.
