DISNEY has unveiled the Hindi trailer for “Mufasa: The Lion King”, featuring the voice talents of Shah Rukh Khan and his family.
The trailer highlights key moments, including Mufasa’s interactions with other characters, setting the stage for a heartwarming journey.
Shah Rukh Khan lends his voice to Mufasa, the wise and dignified king of the jungle. His son Aryan Khan voices Simba, while their youngest family member, AbRam Khan, portrays young Mufasa. This unique collaboration adds a personal touch for the Khan family and their fans.
The trailer introduces scenes such as young Mufasa encountering another cub, Taka, whose father warns him to avoid Mufasa, labelling him a “wanderer.”
In response, Mufasa defends himself, saying, “Mai awara nahi, mai to bas kho gaya hu,” translating to, “I am not a wanderer; I am just lost.”
Shah Rukh Khan reflected on his connection to the character in a statement, saying, “Mufasa is a character with an incredible legacy, representing the ultimate king of the jungle who teaches his son Simba wisdom and responsibility.” He added that as a father himself, he relates deeply to Mufasa’s journey.
The Hindi version also features Sanjay Mishra as Pumbaa, Shreyas Talpade as Timon, and Meiyang Chang as Taka.
The film will release on December 20 in Hindi, English, and Tamil, offering fans an opportunity to experience this classic story in multiple languages.
