Shah Rukh Khan and his family are set to temporarily move out of their iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, as extensive renovation work begins. Reports suggest that SRK, along with wife Gauri Khan and children Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, will relocate to a luxurious four-floor apartment in Pali Hill, Bandra, for the next two years.

Mannat, a Grade III heritage structure, is undergoing a major revamp. Gauri Khan sought permission from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) last year to add two additional floors to the existing six-storey annexe. The expansion will increase the built-up area by 616.02 square meters, with an estimated cost of Rs 25 crore.
To accommodate their stay during this period, SRK’s company, Red Chillies Entertainment, has leased four floors in Puja Casa, a luxury property co-owned by producer Vashu Bhagnani’s children, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshika Deshmukh. According to reports, “Each floor has one flat and while it is clearly not as spacious as Mannat, there is enough space to accommodate his security and other staff.” The superstar will reportedly pay a monthly rent of Rs 24 lakh for the apartment.
As SRK’s Mannat undergoes transformation, fans will have to wait to see its new avatar in two years.
