HOLLYWOOD actor and singer Selena Gomez has announced her engagement to music producer Benny Blanco.
The announcement was made on social media, where Gomez shared photos featuring a sparkling ring, captioned, “Forever begins now.”
Blanco responded in the comments with, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”
The couple confirmed their relationship publicly in December 2023, although they had been romantically linked since June of that year.
Their professional collaborations date back to Gomez’s 2015 hit Same Old Love, followed by I Can’t Get Enough in 2019, and her 2023 single Single Soon.
Gomez, 32, has had a successful 2024, receiving recognition in both film and television. She won Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in Emilia Perez and earned an Emmy nomination for her performance in “Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building”.
This week, Gomez received two Golden Globe nominations: one for “Emilia Perez” and another for “Only Murders in the Building”.
