ON RAKSHA BANDHAN 2024, Shweta Singh Kirti commemorated her late brother, Sushant Singh Rajput, with a heartfelt Instagram post and a video montage.
The video includes highlights such as Sushant’s acceptance speech at an award ceremony, an interview with Shweta, and other memorable moments of the late actor.
Shweta’s post read, “Happy Raksha Bandhan my dear brother, you were not only a great artist but a great human to begin with. Look you have filled so many hearts with so much love. I wish to do the same and follow on your footsteps of spreading love and joy in the world (sic).”
Earlier in the year, on June 14, 2024, Shweta and Sushant’s family held a puja at their residence to mark the fourth anniversary of his death. The ceremony was attended by close friends and family who came together to honour the actor.
Sushant Singh Rajput, renowned for his roles in ‘Kai Po Che!’, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, and ‘Chhichhore’, passed away on June 14, 2020.
His death led to significant discussions about mental health and the pressures within the entertainment industry.
