Aman Singh Dhaliwal, an actor from the Indian state of Punjab, was left seriously injured after a man attacked him with a knife while he was working out in a gym in the US.
According to reports, the 36-year-old model-turned-actor received multiple injuries in the attack and was undergoing treatment at a hospital.
The assailant reportedly brandished the knife and threatened other people who were present in the gym at the time of the attack. The attack reportedly happened at Planet Fitness, a chain of gyms in Grand Oaks, California, India Today reported. The attack was captured by the CCTV camera and the footage later surfaced on social media.
The ‘Ik Kudi Punjab Di’ actor predominantly works in Punjabi films. He has also appeared in Hindi films such as ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ and ‘Big Brother’ and television shows such as ‘Ishq Ka Rang Safed’, ‘Porus’ and ‘Vighnaharta Ganesh’.
Born in Mansa in Punjab to Mithu Singh Kahneke and Gurtej Kaur Dhaliwal, Aman has done Bachelor’s in radiology and Master’s in Hospital Administration.
