Amazon Prime Video’s explosive new action-comedy Heads of State is shaping up to be the blockbuster of the summer, and leading the charge is none other than Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Slated for release on July 2, 2025, the film positions Chopra as MI6 agent Noel Bisset—a sharp, strategic operative tasked with protecting the most powerful men in the world.
In Heads of State, John Cena stars as the unfiltered US president Will Derringer and Idris Elba plays the stoic UK prime minister Sam Clarke. Once bitter political rivals, the two world leaders are suddenly forced into an unlikely alliance when an imminent global threat surfaces. Caught in the middle of high-stakes diplomacy and danger, Chopra’s character emerges as the glue—and the grit—holding the mission together.
The trailer teases Chopra’s commanding presence with the line: “My mission is to deliver you to the most secure location on this continent.” It’s a performance that blends action prowess with emotional intensity, cementing her as more than just a supporting role—she’s the pulse of the narrative.
Directed by Ilya Naishuller (Nobody) and written by Harrison Query, Josh Appelbaum, and André Nemec, Heads of State boasts a star-studded cast including Jack Quaid, Carla Gugino, Stephen Root, and Paddy Considine.
