Priyanka Chopra’s long-speculated Bollywood comeback has finally begun to take shape, and fans are buzzing with excitement as well as divided opinions. The former Miss World and global icon is reportedly all set to return to one of her most beloved film franchises — Krrish 4.
According to a recent Pinkvilla report, Priyanka will reunite with Hrithik Roshan for the much-anticipated fourth installment of the superhero saga, marking a major milestone in her journey back to Hindi cinema. But the internet has something else to say about it, and let’s just say it’s not all roses.
While Priyanka may have gone Hollywood years ago, her heart seems to be warming up again to her “desi girl” roots. The source cited in the report revealed that it was an easy decision for Priyanka to jump aboard Krrish 4, considering the legacy of the franchise and her established chemistry with Hrithik Roshan.
“Hrithik and Priyanka have a great professional rapport. When she heard Hrithik’s vision for taking the franchise ahead — and especially since he’s directing it this time — she was completely sold,” the insider stated.
The film, which continues the story that began with Koi Mil Gaya and evolved through Krrish and Krrish 3, is reportedly set to go on floors in early 2026. Interestingly, Hrithik Roshan will also be taking over as director, replacing his father Rakesh Roshan, adding another level of intrigue and anticipation around the project.
Adding to the nostalgia is the reported return of the beloved alien character Jadoo, who will be back after a whopping 23 years.
Reactions online have been intense. While many fans are thrilled at the thought of seeing Priyanka reprise her role and maintain the sanctity of the Krrish universe, others are reading between the lines. One user wrote, “I’m so happy PC is back in Hindi Cinema. We needed an age-appropriate heroine and she wasn’t doing too well in Hollywood either — win-win.” Another fan joked, “PC ji, King mein bhi cameo kar lo please.” However, not everyone was as welcoming. A few trolls commented, “Hollywood mein kaam nahi mil raha kya?” and “Laut ke buddhu ghar ko aaye.”
This divide has reignited the ongoing discourse about Indian actors in the West. While Priyanka hasn’t had box office hits lately, she remains one of the most globally recognized Indian actors. Her return to Bollywood — especially through a franchise like Krrish — seems both strategic and sentimental.
The film promises a visual spectacle and nostalgic thrill, especially with Hrithik donning the superhero cape again after 14 years.
