Porn-addict Delhi man charged for forcing wife to dress like porn stars

The woman accused her husband to be a pornography addict and also filed a complaint accusing him and his family of demanding dowry and subjecting her to harassment.

A MAN in Delhi has been charged for allegedly forcing his 30-year-old wife to watch pornography and dress like porn stars, police have said.

The woman said her husband is addicted to pornography. The couple got married in 2020, the police added.

She also filed a complaint accusing her husband and his family of demanding dowry and subjecting her to mental and physical harassment.

Deputy commissioner of police of the capital’s Shahdara district Rohit Meena said a case was registered on Tuesday (4) based on the woman’s complaint. The case has been filed under sections 498A (husband or relative subjecting a woman to cruelty), 406 (criminal breach of trust), 377 (unnatural offence), and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code, as well as sections of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The police are currently recording statements from witnesses and securing digital and other forms of evidence for further action in the case.
