PARMARTH Niketan in Rishikesh in India’s Himalayan state of Uttarakhand on Wednesday (28) organised a special meditation and yoga session with G20 delegates of the Infrastructure and Finances Working Group group on at Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ashram (Beatles Ashram).
Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, president of Parmarth Niketan, and Pujya Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswatiji, director of the International Yoga Festival at Parmarth Niketan, both of whom were abroad at the time, sent their blessings.
They shared their belief that global leaders and decision makers must be grounded and possess a balanced state of mind to make policies that are pro planet, reflecting the true spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world as one family.
They also added that yoga and meditation as part of lifestyle is a key element to ensure it.

Parmarth Rishikumars led a yoga demonstration at the event, inviting the guests to do some stretches. Yogacharya Ganga Nandiniji led a special meditation performance.
The visit was a special excursion planned on the concluding day of the delegation’s visit to Uttarakhand by the state government and included a tour through the Beatles Ashram.
