While many speculated that she skipped the wedding due to Priyanka Chopra’s absence at her own wedding, Parineeti’s latest Instagram post has added fuel to the fire. She shared a cryptic message that read, “We’re really on borrowed time. Choose people that choose you, and let everyone else be.”
This post has led to widespread speculation, with some believing it hints at a possible strained relationship between the cousins. However, others argue that her busy work schedule could be the reason behind her absence. Parineeti’s recent Instagram updates showcase behind-the-scenes glimpses from the sets of her upcoming project, suggesting that work commitments may have prevented her from attending.

The intimate wedding saw the presence of several family members, including Parineeti’s parents Reena and Pawan Chopra, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra, her in-laws Denise Miller-Jonas and Paul Kevin Jonas Sr, and cousins Mannara and Mitali Chopra. The ceremony followed Siddharth’s engagement to actress Neelam Upadhyaya in August 2024.
Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra are first cousins. Their fathers, Ashok Chopra (Priyanka’s father) and Pawan Chopra (Parineeti’s father), are brothers. This makes them direct paternal cousins, and they have often spoken about their close bond in interviews.
