Malayalam star Kunchacko Boban’s much-awaited crime thriller, Officer On Duty, has officially hit theatres today, February (20(, 2025, after receiving a U/A certificate from the CBFC. The film’s makers confirmed the certification on February 18, just ahead of the release, building excitement among fans.

Sharing the news on social media, the team wrote, “Officially U/A 16+ certified! 🎬 A perfect mix of suspense, drama, and entertainment awaits…!!” This announcement further heightened anticipation for the gripping investigative thriller, which promises a blend of action, suspense, and intense drama.

The trailer of Officer On Duty has already generated significant buzz, offering a glimpse into a thrilling and intense crime investigation plot. Director Jithu Ashraf has an impressive background in Malayalam cinema. He previously worked as an assistant director on acclaimed films like Action Hero Biju, Udhaharanam Sujatha, and Ela Veezha Poonchira. Apart from filmmaking, he has also showcased his acting talent in movies like Nayattu and Iratta.

The lead actors in Officer On Duty have been a part of notable recent projects:
