A recent viral photo of Jr NTR from his Dubai vacation has left fans both stunned and speculative. Dressed casually in a blue Hawaiian shirt and black trousers, the RRR star looked leaner than ever, sparking widespread rumors that he may have used Ozempic, a drug known for rapid weight loss and popular among some celebrities. However, close sources have now clarified the real reason behind Jr NTR’s dramatic transformation—and it has nothing to do with any weight-loss drug.
According to a media report, a source close to the actor confirmed that Jr NTR is completely healthy and has not used Ozempic or any other medication to lose weight. Instead, the source attributed his changed physique to a strict diet regimen that the actor has been following since February 2025, in preparation for his upcoming movie NTR31, directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF and Salaar fame.
The buzz around his physical transformation gained momentum after fans shared the Dubai snapshot on social media, leading to wild guesses about his health and lifestyle changes. However, insiders have reassured fans that this change is a conscious, professionally guided effort for his next film, which is expected to showcase a very different avatar of Jr NTR.

The actor’s breezy Hawaiian shirt may look effortless, but fashion sleuths identified it as a designer piece from the luxury Italian label ETRO, priced at approximately ₹85,000. The image sparked fan theories online, with hashtags like #ManOfMassesNTR and fashion guess games dominating fan pages.

This isn’t the first time Jr NTR has made headlines for his luxury fashion choices. During the shoot of War 2 in Mumbai, he was spotted wearing a Richard Mille RM 40-01 Tourbillon McLaren Speedtail, a rare timepiece valued at a whopping ₹7.47 crore, further cementing his status as one of India’s most stylish stars.
Speaking of War 2, the actor is set to share screen space with Hrithik Roshan in this action-packed sequel directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film is slated to release on August 14, 2025, right before Independence Day, promising fireworks at the box office. Meanwhile, NTR31, which will showcase the actor’s new lean look, is scheduled for release in 2026 and is already one of the most anticipated films in South Indian cinema.
