Nepalese foreign minister Narayan Khadka on Saturday (17) arrived in Britain to attend the funeral ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II who passed away at Balmoral Castle in Scotland on September 8.
The UK government had invited its Nepalese counterpart to the funeral of Britain’s longest-serving monarch.
Khadka was welcomed at the Heathrow Airport by British officials and Nepal’s ambassador to the UK Gyan Chandra Acharya.
On Sunday (18), Khadka attended the lying-in-state of the queen at Westminster Hall and signed the official condolence book at Lancaster House representing the government and people of the Himalayan state.

The Nepalese diplomat is set to return home on Wednesday (21).
