Naga Chaitanya’s father, Telugu cinema star Nagarjuna, confirmed the engagement via his official X page and shared photographs of the couple

ACTORS Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged on Thursday at a traditional engagement ceremony in Hyderabad. The event was a private occasion, attended by close family and friends.
Naga Chaitanya’s father, Telugu cinema star Nagarjuna, confirmed the engagement via his official X page.
Nagarjuna’s post read: “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8. A beginning of infinite love.”
This announcement was accompanied by a series of photographs of the engaged couple.
Chaitanya, 37, and Dhulipala, 32, were first reported to be romantically involved in 2022 when they were seen together on a vacation in Europe.
The news of their engagement began circulating on social media earlier in the day, generating considerable interest among fans and followers.
Previously, Chaitanya was married to actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Their marriage lasted from 2017 until 2021.
Neither Chaitanya nor Dhulipala have collaborated on a film project to date. Chaitanya’s most recent work includes his role in the series Dootha, while Dhulipala’s latest film is Monkey Man.
Dhulipala has starred in some successful OTT series like Made in Heaven and Night Manager.
