During the World Leaders’ Summit (WLS) starting at the event on Monday, Modi will present the formal position on India’s climate action agenda and lay out the best practices and achievements in the field.
COP26 kicks off but are the hard questions being dodged?
The Indian prime minister will join over 120 heads of government and state at a special reception at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow, one of Scotland’s most popular attractions, at the end of the first day of the WLS.
The reception will also see members of the royal family, including Prince Charles and wife Camilla and Prince William and wife Kate Middleton. Queen Elizabeth II was due to attend the reception but pulled out last week after a medical advice against travel.
