British luxury automotive manufacturer McLaren Automotive on Thursday (17) kicked off its India operations and inaugurated its first showroom in Mumbai, the country’s financial capital.
Mathias Weiskopf, regional market manager, McLaren Automotive Asia, said the Artura supercar, its first-ever high-performance hybrid, will make its debut in India in early next year, HT Auto reported.

The model will be brought to the country as a CBU (Completely-Built-Up) unit and in limited numbers, the report added.
The carmaker showcased the new 765LT Spider, the only 765LT ever made, at its newly opened showroom.
McLaren has plans to gradually bring its entire model range to customers and enthusiasts in India, including the Everyday McLaren GT and Artura.
The new showroom, which is represented by Infinity Cars, is supported by a dedicated service centre which is run by engineers trained by the company.
