COME November 12 and the lastminute.com London Eye will transform the night sky with a burst of colour for Diwali, the festival of lights.

The cantilevered observation wheel will light-up the London skyline with a special illumination of dazzling lights and colourful patterns, inspired by traditional rangoli colours.

The dazzling display will take place when Hindu, Sikh, Jain and Buddhist communities of London will celebrate Diwali — representing a time for a new beginning and hope for the future, with the good triumphing over evil and light coming out of the darkness.

Imran Tauqir, the general manager of lastminute.com London Eye, said, “We’re delighted to be joining the Hindu, Sikh, Jain and Buddhist communities in the celebration of Diwali at the lastminute.com London Eye with our very special light-up display. It’s amazing to join not just the Hindu, Sikh, Jain and Buddhist communities in London but around the world in celebrating the festival of light. We wish a very happy and safe Diwali to our guests, team and all those marking the occasion across London and beyond.”
