EVR Motors, an Israeli pioneer in high power-density electric motors, on Monday (20) unveiled its new greenfield plant in Manesar in the northern Indian state of Haryana, through its subsidiary, I.EVR Motors.
It is the maiden manufacturing venture in India for an Israeli automotive company and is expected to play a key role in EVR’s global production strategy. The facility was inaugurated by Israeli ambassador to India, Naor Gilon.
The facility will manufacture trapezoidal geometry coils, a patented vital element of EVR’s Trapezoidal Stator Radial Flux Permanent Magnet (RFPM) motor technology. These coils are integral to EVR’s electric motors, renowned for their compactness, reduced weight, cost-efficiency, and being flexible in meeting varied customer requirements, India Today reported.
Initially, the highly automated Manesar facility aims to provide coils for about 20,000 motors monthly. Expansion plans are in place to scale up to approximately 100,000 motors to address the rising global demand for electric vehicles (EVs).

EVR has finalised commercial agreements with leading Indian automotive firms like Napino, Belrise Group, EKA Mobility, and RSB Transmissions. These tie-ups are set to bolster the supply chain and augment EVR’s capacity to serve both local and global markets.
“The opening of our new plant in India is a significant milestone in our mission to revolutionise electric mobility with innovative motor technologies. By establishing this facility, we ensure a reliable supply chain and support our growth plans in India and globally. This venture exemplifies India-Israel business cooperation and embodies our vision of ‘Make in India for the world.’ Our greenfield investment highlights our confidence in the Indian market and trust in its burgeoning mobility sector,” Sajal Kishore, MD, I.EVR Motors, was quoted as saying by India Today.
