Mimi Chakraborty, a parliamentarian from India’s Trinamool Congress (TMC), on Tuesday (21) slammed Emirates after discovering a hair in her in-flight meal and accused that despite mailing the airline representatives about it, she received no response or apology.
She tweeted about her experience and after it went viral, Emirates responded to her by apologising and urging her to write a feedback.
Chakraborty, an actor-politician who is serving her maiden term as a member of Lok Sabha or Lower House of the Indian parliament, said she found the hair in the croissant she was served in the flight. She shared pictures of the same on Twitter, where she wrote, “Dear @emirates i believe u hav grown 2 big to care less about ppl traveling wit u. Finding hair in meal is not a cool thing to do i believe. Maild u nd ur team but u didn’t find it necessary to reply or apologise @EmiratesSupportThat thing came out frm the croissant i was chewing.”

In another Twitter post, she said, “You can find my mail with all details if you care.”
