HE is known to be an avid user of Twitter and his short wits make him a popular figure among the netizens.

Anand Mahindra, the chairman of Indian multinational conglomerate Mahindra Group, had no exceptional routine on Monday (27), the day his company, which is also a major automaker, was set to release the new edition of its popular sports utility vehicle Scorpio called the Scorpio-N.

That Mahindra has eyes for fine details was evident even on a day when his company was preparing for the launch of one of its most awaited vehicles. He made posts and retweets to celebrate the occasion but also highlighted a post made by a common Indian.

Abhishek Dubey, who has just 20 followers on Twitter, shared a picture of a humble school girl studying on the road side in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

“Today i was on trip in Staun area Himachal, i was surprised to see this little girl sitting all alone studying writing notes, i can not express how amazed i felt seeing the concentration she had in books. Brilliant,” Dubey tweeted with the picture and tagged Mahindra and Jairam Thakur, the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh.

The post did not escape Mahindra’s eyes. He responded to the picture saying the girl was his “Monday Motivation”.

“Beautiful photograph, Abhishek. She is my #MondayMotivation,” the Harvard-educated billionaire said.

The Mahindra chief received many responses to his tweet and among them, one user asked him about his qualification. The witty Mahindra replied to that too, saying, “Frankly, at my age, the only qualification of any merit is experience…”

On the arrival of Scorpio-N, Mahindra tweeted, “A legend will be reborn tomorrow…” and “A legend, both outside and inside..”
