Himachal saw a number of deaths caused of incessant rains that triggered landslides and flash floods.

AS heavy rains and flash floods wreaked havoc in several states of northern India, including the hilly state of Himachal Pradesh which was the worst hit, scary images and videos flooded social media with reactions pouring in.
In Manali Allu, a hotel was seen washed away by strong floods and the video of the incident went viral on social media. It was, however, not known whether there were casualties. Himachal saw a number of deaths caused of incessant rains that triggered landslides and flash floods.

In neighbouring Haryana which was also hit by the fury of monsoon, several people were seen standing atop a bus which got overturned on a flooded road and waiting to be rescued.
The bus, which was coming from Himachal, met with accident on the flooded Ambala-Yamunanagar road and visuals showed its passengers getting trapped amid rising floodwaters. They were rescued on time with the help of a crane and rope.
Prime minister Narendra Modi spoke with the chief ministers of Himachal and Uttarakhand, another Himalayan state which also faced the wrath of the nature and assured them of help. Home minister Amit Shah also spoke with the chief ministers of Himachal and Punjab, another state which was affected.
