PUNJABI music star Diljit Dosanjh brought his “Dil-Luminati India Tour” to a close in Ludhiana, performing at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) ground on New Year’s Eve.
The finale marked the end of a two-month tour that began in New Delhi on October 26 and included stops in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Guwahati.
The Ludhiana concert, a late addition to the schedule, was a highlight of the tour, which was promoted as the “biggest Indian tour in history.” Fans gathered in large numbers to witness the energetic performances, including the singer’s popular hits like “G.O.A.T.”
On social media, Diljit shared his excitement, captioning a video from the event, “VIBE CHECK KAR. Happy Happy New Year Folks. THIS IS MY CITY LUDHIANA. DIL-LUMINATI TOUR’s Grand Finale Doesn’t Get BIGGER Than This.”
During the show, he paid homage to legendary Punjabi singer Muhammad Sadiq, inviting him on stage to sing the iconic “Malki Keema.” Diljit referred to Sadiq as the “REAL OG” and expressed his admiration for the veteran artist.
Reflecting on the success of the tour, Diljit posted a video thanking his team, saying, “Together, we have made it the biggest Indian tour in the history of Indian music, setting new trends.” He credited the dedication and hard work of his crew for the tour’s achievements.
The tour included concerts in several major cities such as Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Indore, showcasing Diljit’s widespread appeal and reaffirming his position as one of India’s leading performers. (PTI)
