TELUGU film “Devara: Part 1,” directed by Koratala Siva, has grossed ₹3.04 billion (£27.14 million)at the worldwide box office in its opening weekend, the filmmakers announced on Monday.
Starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, the movie was released on September 27.
The official handle of the film on the social media platform X shared, “A hurricane named ‘#Devara’… has wiped out every nook and corner with his ‘X’ style of destruction #BlockbusterDevara.”
“Devara” is a two-part action drama set in the forgotten coastal regions of India.
Devara Part 1 marks Jr NTR’s return to the big screen following the global success of RRR.
The film was released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. It is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts and presented by Nandamuri Kalyana Ram.
