A BRITISH YouTuber Miles Routledge is facing online backlash after he joked that if he is made the prime minister, he would nuke various countries, including India, at the slightest provocation.

Known in social media by the name of Lord Miles, Routledge (25) boasts more than 126,000 subscribers.

In a series of posts on X, Routledge wrote, “When I become prime minister of England, I’ll open the nuclear silos as an explicit warning to any foreign power that interferes with British interests and affairs. I’m not talking huge incidents, I’m itching to launch and atomize entire nations over the smallest infraction.”

In the thread, Routledge had singled out India. “Hell, I might just launch at India just for the sake of it!” he wrote. He subsequently deleted the post.

When a X user accused him of rage-baiting, Routledge responded saying he just did not like India. He also provided an explanation as to why he thought the user threatening him was an Indian.

“Believe it or not, I just don’t like India. Also I can sense an Indian, he is Indian,” he claimed after one anonymous X user allegedly threatened him over his remarks.

In response to another post by an Indian, he wrote, “Indian threatens to find me, it backfires lmao,” and shared the screenshot which read: “I will find you I promise, your apology video will be sweet.”

Routledge responded to the message by sharing his address and followed it up with “Saar okay lord saar good luck saar haha saar”, to mock the Indians.

Afghanistan trip

Routledge gained notoriety of being a ‘dangerous tourist’ for visiting countries while they were facing political turmoil.

He became famous after he happened to be in Afghanistan when Taliban regained power in 2021.

Despite warnings from the British government, he travelled to the civil-war affected country and documented his experience on platforms like 4chan, Facebook and Twitch.

He landed in Kabul, barely two days before it fell to Taliban.

He sought refuge in a safe house and was eventually evacuated by the British Army in the guise of a woman in a burkha.

Routledge has also been to other to dangerous locations like Kazakhstan, Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, Ukraine and Brazil.
