The personal lives of television actors Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta have recently come under public scrutiny following their divorce after 14 years of marriage. Barkha has openly accused Indraneil of infidelity, while Indraneil offers a different perspective on their separation.
In a candid interview, Barkha Bisht expressed that she still harbors feelings for Indraneil but questioned his loyalty during their marriage. She stated, “I still have a lot of love for Indraneil. I don’t know about respect, but love. I have spent beautiful 15 years of my life with him. I never wanted to spoil his relations with his daughter. I am not the kind to do all this. When he couldn’t give me loyalty, love, and stability in a marriage, what will I do with anything else?”
Barkha also revealed that despite being aware of Indraneil’s alleged infidelity, she attempted to salvage their marriage for two years. She admitted, “I was among those women who would say that I would walk out of a marriage if I was cheated on, but when it actually happens to you, you realize it is easier said than done.”

Indraneil Sengupta, on the other hand, has refrained from labeling their marriage as a failure. He emphasized that both he and Barkha had distinct personalities from the outset, which became more pronounced over time. In an interview, he explained, “We were extremely different personalities right from the beginning. But over the years, we have become more true to ourselves, and that increased the gap between us. Our perspectives on love, family, our child, and work are very different.”

Addressing rumors about his absence from their daughter’s life post-divorce, Indraneil clarified that he remains actively involved. He mentioned that their daughter spends time with both parents and that they strive to maintain a positive environment for her. He stated, “She stays with Barkha more because she is at an age where she needs her mother. But I meet her regularly, and we ensure she gets equal time with both of us.”
The revelations have sparked widespread discussions on social media and various entertainment platforms. Fans and followers have expressed mixed reactions, with some showing support for Barkha’s candidness and others appreciating Indraneil’s perspective on personal growth and change.
Both Barkha and Indraneil have expressed a desire to focus on their respective careers and co-parenting their daughter.
