AMID the sensational episode surrounding the arrest of Aryan Khan, the visit by a Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) team at Shah Rukh Khan’s residence in Mumbai on Thursday (21) created a flutter. The anti-drugs agency, however, said that the visit to the superstar’s house “wasn’t a raid” and was meant only for paperwork.
The NCB officials visited Khan’s residence hours after he met his 23-year-old son in jail.
According to the agency, the team visited Khan’s ‘Mannat’ for “certain material related to the investigation of the case”.

“It wasn’t a raid as erroneously reported in certain sections of media,” NCB officer Sameer Wankhede said in a statement. Aryan was arrested along with some others after the NCB, led by Wankhede, conducted a raid on a luxury cruise off the coast of Mumbai in the intervening night between October 2 and 3.
Aryan has been denied bail since then.
