A 30-SECOND video clip of a dance by a student from Amity University in Delhi at a college function has gone viral and sparked a debate among the netizens.
A woman member of the social media platform X had posted the video of a girl student grooving to the beats of the popular Bollywood track and criticised her for promoting ‘nudity’.
The post sparked an online debate about the definition of nudity and whether the dance had crossed the limits.
The video was from a freshers’ party programme that took place at Amity University on November 8.
In the clip the student could be seen grooving to the beats of a popular Bollywood track from the 2004 movie “Khakee”.
She appears on stage wearing an oversized t-shirt and in the course of the song she removes the t-shirt, but she was wearing another top worn underneath.
Many criticised the X user for sharing the clip, accusing her of using it merely to gain more traffic on her profile.
Some even praised the student for her dance moves and wondered where was the ‘nudity’.
The X user was also attacked for not blurring the face of the girl and not taking her permission before posting the clip.
