Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has created a massive buzz on social media by hinting at a highly anticipated collaboration between her husband Ranbir Kapoor and superstar Aamir Khan. On Tuesday (11), Alia took to Instagram to share a poster featuring the two actors and teased a possible face-off, leaving fans speculating about an upcoming blockbuster project.
In her Instagram post, Alia expressed her excitement, writing, “A battle of the best! Two of my favourite actors w̶i̶t̶h̶ against each other… Stay tuned for something very very exciting…more deets coming tomorrow… P.S. I know you’re going to love it as much as I did.” This left fans curious and thrilled about what the duo has in store.
The video Alia shared further built up the anticipation. In the video, she said, “I have been waiting to show this to you guys. Two of my favourite actors will be seen together, ya ek doosre ke against (or against each other). Dikhana hi bhool gayi (I forgot to show it to you)… Yakeen nahi ho raha na, mujhe bhi nahi hua (Don’t believe it na, it was tough for me too). But it is real, and it is great. Stay tuned.”
The poster revealed that the collaboration is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and comes with the tagline “The Ultimate Blockbuster” and “The Greatest Rivalry of the Year.” However, upon closer look, fans realized that the project is actually an advertisement and not a film, as Alia added the hashtag #ad in her caption. Nevertheless, the excitement among fans remained high.

This marks the second time Ranbir and Aamir have shared screen space. Previously, Ranbir made a brief cameo in Aamir Khan’s 2014 blockbuster PK. Seeing them together in a face-off concept for an ad has still managed to stir excitement and speculation among Bollywood enthusiasts.
Fans quickly flooded the comments section with reactions. One user wrote, “Legends collaborating.” Another excited fan commented, “Omg I just can’t wait.” A different user noted, “Alia’s hype for RK is never-ending.” Someone else shared, “Two best of Indian cinema! Legends.” Another fan remarked, “Ranbir is so lucky his wife is his biggest cheerleader.”
Although this collaboration is confirmed as an advertisement, fans have already started manifesting a full-fledged film featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan in a massive face-off. The fact that Nitesh Tiwari directed the ad has also fueled hopes that a future cinematic collaboration may be on the cards.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Aamir Khan is currently working on his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par, a sequel to his 2007 critically acclaimed movie Taare Zameen Par. The film is expected to hit theatres later this year. Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, is undergoing rigorous training for his role in Love and War, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, which also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
As fans eagerly await the official release of the advertisement featuring Aamir and Ranbir, many are still hoping that this collaboration could eventually lead to a mega blockbuster film. For now, Alia Bhatt’s adorable build-up and Ranbir’s iconic face-off with Aamir Khan have left Bollywood fans beyond excited.
