Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt is set to turn 32 on March 15, and ahead of her special day, she chose to celebrate with the paparazzi. Accompanied by her husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor, Alia cut a beautifully decorated birthday cake while dressed in a graceful pastel kurta. The heartwarming moment turned playful when Ranbir smeared some cake on her nose before giving her a sweet kiss, leaving fans gushing over their adorable chemistry.
After the cake-cutting ceremony, the couple posed for pictures with the paparazzi, adding to the celebratory mood. However, the highlight of the evening was their big announcement about their much-anticipated films—Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmāstra: Part Two – Dev and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, which will also star Vicky Kaushal.

Following the success of Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva in 2022, fans have been eagerly waiting for updates on its sequel. Addressing the anticipation, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that director Ayan Mukerji has been working tirelessly to develop Brahmāstra: Part Two – Dev as part of his ambitious trilogy.
“Brahmāstra 2 is a dream Ayan has been nurturing for a long time. As you all know, he is currently working on War 2, and once that releases, he will begin pre-production for Brahmāstra 2,” Ranbir stated. He reassured fans that the project is definitely happening and hinted at some major announcements in the near future.
The first installment, Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva, introduced audiences to a visually stunning mythological universe, and the sequel is expected to expand on this mystical world while unveiling the backstory of Dev, the powerful antagonist.
Apart from Brahmāstra 2, the real surprise for movie lovers was the announcement of Love & War, which brings Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal together under the direction of legendary filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Speaking about the film, Ranbir expressed his excitement, calling it a dream opportunity. “To work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, alongside brilliant actors like Alia and Vicky, is truly an honor. I worked with Bhansali 17 years ago, and now, collaborating again, I can confidently say there’s no one like him when it comes to understanding emotions, characters, and the depth of Indian culture. His process may be long and demanding, but the artistic satisfaction it brings is unparalleled,” he shared.
The film marks Ranbir’s second collaboration with Bhansali after Saawariya (2007) and Alia’s second after her award-winning performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022). Fans are already eager to witness the magic that Bhansali will create with these three powerhouse performers.
As Alia Bhatt rings in her birthday with Ranbir Kapoor by her side, the excitement around their upcoming projects continues to grow. From the epic fantasy of Brahmāstra 2 to the grandeur of Love & War, the duo is set to dominate the silver screen once again.
