Bollywood’s beloved couple, Ajay Devgn and Kajol, are celebrating 26 years of marriage today. The duo, known for their enduring bond, marked the special occasion with a heartfelt social media post.
Ajay Devgn took to Instagram to share a nostalgic throwback picture with Kajol, followed by a second image featuring animated characters. Expressing his joy, the Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam actor captioned the post, “Beating this trend by 26 years. Happy anniversary to us.”
Ajay and Kajol tied the knot on February 24, 1999, in an intimate ceremony. Over the years, they have been one of Bollywood’s most adored couples, setting relationship goals with their love and camaraderie. The couple is blessed with two children, daughter Nysa and son Yug.

Ajay Devgn was last seen in Azaad, a period drama set in pre-independence India. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film portrays Ajay as a rebellious warrior with exceptional horse-riding skills. The movie, which hit theatres on January 17, 2025, received praise for its gripping narrative and Ajay’s powerful performance.
Apart from Azaad, Ajay was also seen in Singham Again, the third installment in Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster Singham franchise. The film clashed with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office during Diwali 2024, but both movies turned out to be massive successes. Singham Again reaffirmed Ajay’s stature as Bollywood’s go-to action star.
Kajol, on the other hand, impressed audiences with her intense performance in Do Patti. The thriller, directed by debutant Shashanka Chaturvedi and written by Kanika Dhillon, is set in the fictional town of Devipur, Uttarakhand. In the film, Kajol plays a fierce cop determined to unravel the truth behind an attempted murder case.
Adding to the film’s intrigue, Kriti Sanon takes on a double role for the first time, portraying twin sisters who each carry hidden secrets crucial to the plot. The movie also features Shaheer Sheikh as Dhruv Sood, a character entangled in a complex web of love and mystery.
Do Patti marks Kajol’s second collaboration with Kriti Sanon after their 2015 film Dilwale, further elevating fans’ excitement. Kajol’s performance as the determined cop earned her widespread praise, solidifying her position as one of Bollywood’s most versatile actors.
