A minor traffic incident involving a BEST bus and a luxury car reportedly belonging to Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has sparked widespread speculation. While no serious damage was caused, reports suggest that the incident led to a scuffle between the car’s security personnel and the bus driver.
On Wednesday (26) departed from the Juhu bus depot when it allegedly grazed a luxury car near Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow on Juhu Tara Road. The Indian media, citing anonymous sources, reported that the car was associated with Aishwarya Rai, though she was not inside at the time of the incident.
According to the report, when the bus driver stopped to check the situation, one of Aishwarya’s bouncers allegedly approached and slapped him. The driver then called the police emergency helpline (100) to report the altercation. However, once the police arrived at the scene, the bungalow’s supervisor reportedly apologized for the bouncer’s behavior. Following this, the driver chose not to file an official complaint.

As of now, neither Aishwarya Rai nor her representatives have addressed the incident publicly. The Bachchan family has remained silent, leading to further speculation among fans and media. While some fans were initially concerned about Aishwarya’s safety after news of the bus collision spread, later reports clarified that there was no major accident.
A police officer from Juhu also stated that the bus driver had been honking, prompting the car’s driver to step out and ask him to stop. However, no legal action was taken regarding the incident.
Aishwarya Rai, who has significantly reduced her film appearances since marrying Abhishek Bachchan in 2007, has only taken on select projects in recent years. After Fanney Khan (2018), she starred in Mani Ratnam’s epic Ponniyin Selvan films in 2022 and 2023. Her performance as Nandini, a key character in the historical drama, earned her widespread praise. The sequel further revealed her dual role as Oomai Rani.
Aishwarya and Abhishek welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011, and since then, she has prioritized her family life over an active Bollywood career. However, she remains a prominent public figure, often seen at events with her daughter.
While the incident itself appears minor, it has gained traction due to the involvement of Aishwarya Rai’s security personnel. Some social media users questioned whether the alleged slapping of the driver was justified, while others pointed out how minor traffic mishaps in Mumbai are common and do not always escalate to this level of controversy.
For now, with no official complaint filed and no response from Aishwarya’s team, the incident seems to have been resolved without further action. However, given the public interest in Bollywood stars and their lives, discussions around the event are unlikely to die down anytime soon.
