Modi will be in Abu Dhabi to inaugurate the BAPS Hindu Mandir on February 14.

INDIAN prime minister Narendra Modi will address members of the Indian diaspora at a community reception in Abu Dhabi named ‘Ahlan Modi’ (Hello Modi) on February 13, during his visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Modi will be in Abu Dhabi to inaugurate the BAPS Hindu Mandir on February 14. He accepted the invitation for the same earlier in January from Swami Ishwarcharandas and Swami Brahmaviharidas, along with the board of directors, at his residence in New Delhi. The Indian PM will also inaugurate the much awaited Ram Mandir in Ayodhya in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh on January 22.
The event on February 13 will be held at Sheikh Zayed Sports Stadium in Abu Dhabi. According to reports, the organisers expect to fill the stadium to its fullest capacity. Various volunteer committees have been set up for the detailed planning and smooth execution of this historic event.

More than 350 Indian community leaders representing different regions and communities, who came together at the India club, Dubai, on January 3 at the pre-event briefing in Abu Dhabi, welcomed the news with great enthusiasm.
Nearly 12, 000 registrations have been received within 24 hours of announcement, reports said.

Under Modi, India’s relations with the Middle East have received a fresh impetus. While Modi was the first Indian prime minister to visit the UAE in 34 years when he set his foot there in 2015, the upcoming visit will be his seventh to that country since then.
India-UAE relations have improved as a result of the visits and have now reached great heights of mutual understanding and friendship to mutual benefits.
