About India Weekly
India Weekly stands out among the Asian Media Group’s flagship platforms, alongside Eastern Eye and Garavi Gujarat, for its dedicated focus on the Indian American community. It reflects the journey of migrants from India who came with hope and determination and went on to script remarkable success stories in the United States. In doing so, it captures both their struggles and their triumphs, their aspirations and the challenges they continue to face in a changing world.
More than just a news outlet, India Weekly has become a trusted companion to the diaspora. It shines a light on issues that matter most to Indian Americans while celebrating their achievements. Covering politics, business, culture, and the lived realities of migration, it gives voice to the community’s experiences and ensures their stories are told, shared, and remembered.
The publication is part of the Asian Media Group, Britain’s largest Asian publishing house. AMG was founded in the 1960s by Ramniklal Solanki CBE, who arrived in the UK as a young migrant and went on to become a pioneering voice for the Asian community. From those modest beginnings, AMG has grown into a global media network with market-leading brands and events.
