In a shocking incident overseas, Mark Shankar, the younger son of Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, was injured in a fire accident at his school in Singapore. The party confirmed that Mark sustained burn injuries on his arms and legs and also suffered smoke inhalation, leading to respiratory complications. The news has prompted Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, who was on an official tour of the Alluri Sitarama Raju district in Andhra Pradesh, to consider cutting short his scheduled public engagements. Sources from the Jana Sena Party revealed that senior party members and officials have advised Kalyan to conclude the ongoing development programs and immediately fly to Singapore to be by his son’s side.
While Kalyan intends to wrap up key government commitments in the region, he is expected to leave for Singapore from Visakhapatnam airport soon.
