DIRECTOR SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film SSMB29, featuring Mahesh Babu, will launch on January 2 with a low-key pooja ceremony in Hyderabad.
This event marks the start of the film’s production, which has been generating significant interest among fans and the film industry.
Rajamouli has been preparing for the project through extensive pre-production work.
His visits to Borra Caves in Andhra Pradesh and Amboseli National Park in Kenya highlight his efforts to find unique locations for the jungle adventure story.
The film will feature Mahesh Babu alongside Priyanka Chopra, who is making her return to Indian cinema after six years, and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Veteran writer Vijayendra Prasad has written the script, with music composed by MM Keeravaani.
The production is being handled by KL Narayana, and regular shooting is expected to start in April 2025.
